Community college pilots have begun!

Since announcing our historic partnership with the California Community Colleges we’ve welcomed nearly 150 members and their families into various pilot programs across Southern California colleges. Together, with the UDW Resource Center, we’ve created learning pathways in nursing and phlebotomy, along with ESL (English as a Second Language) and basic student preparation courses, just to name a few.

This Fall, we will begin our partnership with thirteen additional colleges throughout the state to bring more robust programming to all UDW members and their immediate families. As we expand our program and grow our reach and community partnerships, we look forward to establishing a book and laptop loan program, transportation assistance, additional learning pathways, help securing Wi-Fi and financial aid.

If you or an immediate family member would like to learn more about how to get started on your college journey, please reach out to admin@udwresourcecenter.org
