Defending care work at the ballot box

This week members across the state came together to celebrate National Register to Vote Day at local events. Together, we empowered other members and our friends and families to register to vote in the upcoming election on November 5, 2024. We had hundreds of proud UDW members show up, from first-time voters to those simply updating their home address, all ready to make their voices heard at the ballot boxes! We’re gearing up to vote to protect home care and family child care, our families, and our communities in this crucial election, because the livelihood of all providers and those in our care are at stake.

It is our collective strength that gives us power at the voting booth and demonstrates the incredible impact that home care and family child care providers make in the communities we serve. Join us in protecting what matters most to us by confirming your voter registration status and checking out UDW’s voting guide at www.udw.org/vote

Our voice can improve the quality of life for those in our care! We have the power to change the future of care in California and across the country.

Let’s do it together!
